What’s the deal?

Adobe (you know them for Photoshop, Illustrator, creative tools) is buying Semrush (a big tool for SEO, search engines, and marketing). The deal is worth about $1.9 billion.

They expect the deal to finish by the first half of 2026.

Why does that matter for marketers?

Semrush helps brands see how visible they are online — in search engines like Google and in new AI tools, too.

Adobe adds that to their super-huge tool box for marketing, design, and data. So brands that use Adobe will also likely get smarter tools for being found online.
